This is Bruce Wayne. Man of Mystery. Yorkshire Terrier. About a year old. High-maintenance as hell. A friend "sold" him to some folks who just HAD to have a puppy. They never paid for him or took the time to train him, and kept trying to give him back. So we got him out of there.
He's a pretty good dog...but he needs a home with dog people in it. To work with him. And pay attention to him. And take him on ten-mile walks in a neighborhood where he's a dog and not a snack for a bigger, meaner, hungrier dog.
Animals need attention, too, just like people. The amount required varies between individuals, but it's needed. That said, I think a "ten-mile walk in a neighborhood where he's a dog and not a snack for a bigger, meaner, hungrier dog" might be a tough prerequisite. And about 8 miles too long for a Yorkshire Terrier.

Ohhh, I started screwing around with the new blogger crap and messed everything up. Then I got tired. I'll fix it when I have more patience.
ReplyDeleteI do believe we found a home for the little dude. That's a relief -- a yorkie was recently stolen in my area. This is not a good place for little happy dogs.
