Check out our curbscore buffet! It's been sitting in a pile in the dining room [where all of my misfit orphaned furniture goes] since the day I dragged it in. Adam spent a good deal of time today cursing and putting it together. I cleaned her up and painted the toenails. :)
I dig it. The veneer on the top is all jacked up, and I think it's supposed to have a mirror. It's definitely missing a drawer and every knob but one. But for free, it's all good. It kinda makes my dining room look like it could be a real room someday.

Yes, but it's lovely. Any ideas about replacing that drawer?

I have a couple of people in mind to get quotes from. It's all veneer, so I don't have to sell my soul for a hunk of fancy wood, which is cool.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely. Even though you have to pay for a drawer to be made...it's still a great price.
ReplyDeleteNew furniture is crap and never lasts like the old stuff.
